Angels&Airwaves

Angels & Airwaves (AvA)* est un groupe californien d'Aéro-Rock créé en juin 2005 par le guitariste de Blink-182, Tom Delonge. Leur premier CD, We Don't Need To Whisper est sorti le 23 Mai 2006. I-Empire est le nom de leur second album, qui est sorti le 6 novembre 2007.

*Tom DeLonge, chanteur et leader du groupe, a donné les initiales AvA au groupe car sa fille s'appelle Ava DeLonge.

Il existe déjà 5 clips, The Adventure, Do It For Me Now, Everything's Magic, Secret Crowds et Breathe .Le groupe affirme vouloir changer la vision traditionnelle du rock qu'a le grand public pour se tourner vers un rock plus futuriste. Après le tournage de leurs shorts films (Everything's Magic, It Hurts, The Adventure, The Gift, The War) le groupe désire sortir un long métrage qui dénoncerait les actes militaires, guerres, et autres problèmes humanitaires.

Tom Delonge annonce qu'il souhaite constituer un groupe engagé, tout comme l'est U2, mais il n'a pas affirmé qu'il voulait leur ressembler musicalement.
